Waffle House - Norfolk

First we sat at the top of the bar for 15 minutes before someone even knew us. Once we finally ordered our food and it was brought to us, they forgot our drinks. Now they remember that every employee is in 6-10 feet of them. it took another 10 minutes to get someone to recognize our calls and finally get our drinks. we had to ask several times for jelly and ketchup. somehow the worst experience in any waffle house I've ever been.

The staff here is amazing every last one of them. Every is very greeting and with a smile. Comes back to check on you to make sure all is good and food is always cooked to perfection each and every time

Now mind you, every employee there is within 6-10 feet of you. It took us another 10 minutes to get someone to acknowledge our calls, and to finally get our drinks. We had to ask multiple times for jelly and ketchup, as well. Literally the worst experience at any Waffle House I’ve ever been to. The only person who didn’t look miserable and rude was the young man cooking who was either bald or had low cut hair. I couldn’t tell because he was the only one who had a hair cover on. He actually looked like he loved his job, and I think he should be recognized for it. I was there 1/15/22 around 2:30 am. Hopefully that will help identify the young man.

Sat and waited for a table for 10-15 min finally got a clean table, sat at the table for another 5-10 min and was completely ignored. Finally got up and left since we were clearly not going to be served. They were fully staffed with employees standing and talking instead of working. I love waffle house but this one is horrible!!!!!!!

Hash browns not cooked all the way. Customer service made you feel like you were brothering them by coming there. Tables were not clean. Needs improvement.
