Feedback gevenSad we stumbled on this place only on our last night in Stavanger! Huge portion of ribs which were tender and delicious! The salad was yummy, but dressing a little bland. The tenderloins was moist and veggies fresh.
Apply the usual caveats about how expensive Stavanger is. The food here is pretty good, but can use some more seasoning. We loved the British cider. The Norwegian pear cider was a little too sweet for our taste, but then the server had warned us of as much. My lamb shank was tender and the garlic mashed potatoes were pretty good. The service was really good including the server's willingness to put in an order for the linguine with shellfish that my husband wanted; it was on the menu outside, but not on the reduced Sunday menu we got when we sat down. Our inner steampunks really love the decor.
Good service with a friendly satff. The portions of goos is like in the USA a lot. I ordered the BBQ ribs which were ok. It an I was supposed to be spicy but actually for me were not. Only thing that bother me is that as soon as you seat they want you to order. Can I at least have some time to read the menu? Maybe you are supposed to know it before hand. Another important fact for the ones that like to drink wine, do not order the wine sold in glass. Mine was somehow from a bottle which I felt open some days ago. They just brought it and I did not have a chance to ask how old the bottle was opne. maybe i was just unlucky but with Norwegian prices you want to bet better at the least.
