Land Run Grill - Norman

The service and atmosphere were great. I wish I could say the same thing for the food. I ordered the catfish dinner, and what I was served was a massive disappointment. The fish had the texture and consistency of over cooked chicken. My wife's loaded baked potato was seriously lacking any toppings and was dry as dirt. We watched the entire table next to us, got up, and left in discussed, after only finishing half of their plates. After paying for this mess, my wife and I left very disappointed.

My wife and I dropped into Land Run Grill to grab a pair of appetizers and refreshing bevies while running errands on a Saturday afternoon..She had Modelo Especial, and I had Corona Premier, both in frosted pint glasses with salt and lime.. Our bartender, Harley, delivered the draft Modelo in the salted glass perfectly, which we've had problems with at other establishments..We ordered the pretzels with beer cheese and a half-dozen smoked wings tossed in Frank's original hot sauce..This visit was full of pleasant surprises.. The pretzels were served hot, with crispy exteriors and soft insides, which combined with the steamy and wonderfully flavorful beer cheese to create a perfect combo..But the wings!! This is my first time having wings here, and if they are delivered consistently as well as this set was today, Land Run may have very well become my new place for wings in all of Norman..The wings are smoked and have a very balanced, smoky flavor.. That combined with Frank's sauce made for an epically delicious pairing.. Aside from being just slightly dry, these were some of the best wings I've had in the Norman/Moore area since moving here in the 2007 era..All in all our visit was fantastic!! Harley provided great service and was very attentive at the bar. The beers were frosty, the food was fantastic, and the prices were very reasonable..We will definitely return in the near future for a repeat performance.. ?

My wife brought me here. (first time coming). I loved it, service was great, drink selection is good,beverything is reassembly priced and they got the best chicken fried steak I think I've ever had.Food: 5/5

We ordered a take out here. Pork sliders-were awful. Could have been better if they had put more than a 1/4 teaspoon of sauce. No sauce on one of them. Horribly dry. The 46 sandwich was not made in house. Obviously from frozen. Would not try again. Probably good for drinks. And if we had been there we could have asked for more sauce. All in all pitiful. Will not come back.

Outstanding. Best meal and service I’ve had in years! Got the Gator and Tator for an appetizer and the Call of the wild. Perfect. Quail is Smoked to perfection. Trout…awesome! Got the sidewinder fries with cheese and bacon. Mmmm. Everything was awesome. Plus we got two drinks and got out of there for less than fifty bucks. This was a hundred dollar meal, no doubt. My favorite. And! They have Land Run Red! Awesome beer.
