Pastaria Noco - North Adams

The restaurant was closed! I'm really disappointed that OpenTable didn't inform me about this. I understand that the establishment had been closed for a few months, yet I still received a confirmation for my reservation the day before.

I would have appreciated having more half-portions of pasta offered as appetizers or main dishes.

Overall, it’s a pretty decent spot. The highlight was definitely the house-made pasta, which was quite impressive. However, the meat sauce was a bit watery. The service was attentive, perhaps a little too eager.

The room was quite warm for openers. We ordered mussels for an appetizer and they arrived without the sausage indicated on the menu. They were tepid. My pasta carbonara was a giant gooey mess that was also very tepid with soggy bacon did not taste like pancetta and had no sauce. It was very disappointing and actually made me ill during the night and into the next day. No one else in the party had this entree and no one else was ill. As a final note the 9 dollar glass of wine was substandard. I will not return and will warn friends to stay away.

Our first time there. We were on vacation from Texas and saw the recommendation on Yelp. The food was very good and excellent service. We dined on the patio and enjoyed it very much.
