Koko Thai - North Adelaide

The food was Good but not one of my top Thai places. The service is very good, lovely staff. I recommend the snow peas salad, it was lovely.

We used to go to Koko Thai Restaurant regularly but today "Allan" one of the Waiting staff person behaved like a Kid. We called them for a reservation for 4 people @7:30 PM. We were on time and waiting staff asked us for the Name under reservation and we gave our details. They said that there is no reservation under such name and we even told them who it was and what they said. Allan was quite rude to us as he commented that he has not taken any booking !After discussion with the manager, we were seated on a table for four but no one attended us for next 15 minutes. Waiting staff was attending everyone who came after us and were given the water and complimentary Peanuts and we waived our hand to the waiting staff for the order and they ignored. After not being attended . I went to the bar and told the waitress about what is happening and she seemed like she has no clue what is happening and was not concerned. We loved going to Koko Thai but with this for granted behavior for a customer is not acceptable and I will say that they have lost a regular now because of some arrogant waiting staff!! I have always given the food and service a 5 start but not anymore.

Ordered three vegetarian dishes - fried rice, pad Thai and pad pak, all which were full of flavour! We came for lunch and got super quick service by extremely friendly staff. One of my favourite picks for vegetarian Thai food in Adelaide so far!

We have been three times and had three equally excellent experiences. The food is consistently a delight, snow pea salad and soft shell crab are our favourites. What makes this place extra special is the service which has, like the food, been consistently delightful. The staff are so friendly and genuine and on overhearing us toasting a couple of birthdays they brought out cakes with a candle and sang happy birthday! We love this place and will just keep coming back.
