The Lighthouse - North Ayrshire

We went there in september for dinner and were very satisfied with the level of service and quality of food. it is obviously led by two couples who are weeping in front of the house and the males in the back. the employees were very polite and helpful and were grateful for co-vided precautions. no entry without sanitating the first hands and masks used by the personal. I had the venison and my partner had the lamb shoulders that were both delicious. both desserts were also ashamed. we enjoyed it so much that we asked if we could book for the following night, unfortunately they were fully booked for this night, but after leaving they said they could impress us when we arrive early. what we have done! Thank you and we will return.

We ate twice in the lighthouse, it was so good! the first time we booked by phone and byob was pointed out to us. we could not have felt welcome at the arrival, all the staff were very friendly. the choice of food was amazing and our order was taken when we were ready not rushed in any way that food came freshly cooked and was perfect. also not rushed between the curses. we booked there and then for a second visit and received the same warm welcome. I wish we had a week on the island.

My family and I visited the restaurant on the day it reopened. We had a wonderful meal with exceptional courses. The children's meals were fresh and had a great variety. My wife and I loved our main dishes and the desserts were delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, making it a great place for families. After our meal, we took a nice stroll by the water before heading home to put the kids to bed. Thank you for a fantastic experience.

We came to Arran with our children and grandparents for a staycation. What a beautiful island. The weather was just perfect! The Lighthouse was recommended to us by a local and we were so happy it was. The views from the restaurant were breathtaking and the food was absolutely amazing. We were greeted by the owner with a warm welcome and shown to our table. There was a lovely choice of menu for adults and kids. Everyone loved the food and when we come back to Arran again, we will definitely be visiting The Lighthouse again. Thank you for a lovely meal service.

Clearly an owner who knows he has no competition for customers. Rude service, pub food at restaurant prices. Left feeling they were expecting thanks from us for eating in their mediocre restaurant. Go somewhere else even if it is further to go!
