Lee's China Garden Restaurant

Ok so the dining room resembles something between a waiting room and an 80's greasy spoon but the food is top notch. I would eat in a garden she'd if the food stays like this. We had 3 soups, mushroom egg drop, won ton and plain consome. All were very good. We then ordered egg rolls, two stir fries and a fried rice and some chicken balls. Everything was amazing. The egg rolls were incredible, and I don't normally care for egg rolls. Finally, I have been searching for decent chinese food ever since the rose garden closed and have had nothing but bad mush. This place makes excellent food. I think it's set up more fore take out and delivery than dining in but the lady was very pleasant and the food didn't take all that long to get to us.

I have been to this place many times, but 2 weeks ago was my first visit since the new owners and the renovations. I was there on Sunday for Dim Sum. Them menu is smaller than the last time In was there but the food was good. I do not care for the new look of the place. Too much like diner. I must say CP24 on the tv in the corner was distracting and not needed. I will not return. I like to dine and enjoy a meat without the noise of a television . .

This restaurant is in the downtown core and open for lunch. The food was served hot and was tasty but I found there was a massive pile of rice on the combo plate and small portions of the chicken and beef/veg. We ordered an extra side dish to share and only water to drink. If you go and are not a big rice fan you would be farther ahead to just order a single dish from the menu.

I've been through 3 owners and food is still good and reasonably priced even with the latest owners increase due to food costs. Slightly different style of cooking but as good as before. Brian P Longtime customer / 2 times a month minimum.

We had gotten to our hotel room late in the day, and decided to have Chinese delivered in. Was very fast, hot and good!
