Feedback gevenIt's your typical MacDonald's. I hit the drive through on a regular basis. The only negative I can say is they are trying to streamline their customers a bit too much, ie if you forget to ask for condiments when you order the food you sometimes get attitude at the window. It's happened a couple times, so they get docked a star for service.
So I don't go to fast food very often for several reasons. Mainly I don't like it. But also I am kind of "food spoiled" and usually end up disappointed. Out of desperation I brought my child to McDonalds for a happy meal while shopping in WalMart. What a disaster. The staff were all very polite but seemed understaffed and undertrained. I won't get into too much detail but it was just a typical overall poor visit. I am very proud to be part of the food service industry and understand that everyone starts somewhere but I didn't recieve the standard of service, cleanlieness and food that McDonalds is famous for. Being the ultimate franchise they have become the experts in standardizing factory food. When I finally got a hold of the manager (not the shift manager) I was treated well and my concerns were addressed, I won't be going back but not based solely on this experience, I just don't like the food, but being a parent I will likely be dragged in again at some point so I am glad that they took my opinion seriously and even followed up with me. What can I say.... it's McDonalds, they'll fix it.
We waited 20 minutes before we could even order our food. Once it arrived, we had to send back a burger that had an overwhelming amount of sauce on it. The garbage cans were always overflowing and the tables were left dirty. Despite asking twice, our table was not cleaned. The kitchen staff seemed disorganized, just standing around aimlessly.
We decided to have breakfast indoors. The service was quite slow, but our order was accurate. The coffee was served hot. We've visited this place before and found the service to be slow on that occasion as well.
Went there while on a business trip to try the limited edition Italian Pesto Chicken sandwich. I tried to be techy, and decided to do a mobile order, smooth process, a bit hard to find the special stuff, but was easy to modify fries for poutine, and I got a happy meal to get the books for my daughter. The problem was when I arrived, all orders are taken and people are left to wander now.. So you have awkward people waiting in different spots.. As I had a mobile order, I just walked in to wait.. Should have had a station with numbers for the order, but there were none. When I saw what looked like my order I approached, instead of saying my order number, the 2 members of staff just looked at me confused and uttered mobile order ? I guess they dont get many yet. Sandwich was good, ciabatta bun was flavorful, garlicky a bit, and the aioli pesto mayo was great. Delicious, didn 't feel like the usual Mcdonalds. -1 for the service awkwardness, but I do enjoy mobile ordering, great concept!
