I opted for the chicken teriyaki and was pleased to receive a beautifully arranged plate with fresh rice, a generous portion of chicken, and a crisp green salad topped with what I believe is their famous dressing—light, sweet, and a perfect complement to the greens. Self-service tea is also available, which is a nice touch. The restaurant is small, and I did notice chairs stacked in the restroom, but perhaps that’s a testament to their ability to adapt while other businesses in the area have closed. Simplicity is key, and their reliability and strong reputation mean everything, especially in a small town like this near the base of Mt. Si.
I visit this restaurant almost every day when I'm working nearby. The staff are friendly and recognize me by name. I always order the Gyoza plate, and I've never been disappointed. It's consistently served hot and well-prepared.
The food was great, not dry like many other teriyaki places. We didn't encounter any unpleasant service, unlike some other reviews. I would definitely stop by again on our way back.
