Sunday Morning Bakehouse

Perfect spot for short brunch with the family- delicious coffee, filling sandwiches on fresh bread, and the best jalapeno cheddar biscuit I have ever had! Tables were always full so we had to wait for one to open but since it is counter service new ones are available fairly quickly.

I was not impressed with place. The ambience is marginally more pleasing than Starbucks which is not saying much. The coffee was acceptable but not the hot chocolate which was sickly sweet. The prices are high and then the offensive suggestion that you tip, as if it were a restaurant!. The sullen female who took our order must have been having a very bad day. Sorry to feel the need to report so unfavorably but better to know your clientele.

I desperately wanted to love this place. But I simply cannot get past bad management. This restaurant has eggs. This restaurant has sourdough (among other breads). The breakfast sandwich only comes on a brioche. I asked to move the sandwich onto sourdough. The restaurant does not offer the option of putting eggs on sourdough. Even though sourdough is on the menu. Simply makes no sense and hard to get over a restaurant not being able to at least say why they will not put the eggs on sourdough. I do not plan to visit again.

Trust me, get the chocolate chick cookie w sea salt. it’s honestly my favorite chocolate chip cookie i’ve ever had. it’s chewy thin and really buttery. everything else is really good as well. 11/10 would recommend!!

I used to go here with my 6 lb dog in a tote bag to sit and drink coffee with my friend who lives nearby. One time the staff approached me and said dogs are not allowed here and put my food in a to go box and told me to leave. Of course if that's the policy I respect that. So I left. Next time I go back without my dog and see a family walk in with a larger dog not even in a bag. So I approached the staff and asked them if the policy changed again. The girl I spoke to said she didn't think the policy had changed, and that they weren't aware there was dog in the cafe (even though the dog kept barking loudly). She said she will ask and let me know. I said I am sitting over there, and waited. But no one ever came and no one ever told the other person with the dog to leave. I found the way I was treated in contrast to this new situation unpleasant and will not be going here again.
