Mia's Pawon - North Cairns Australia

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant in suburban Cairns. Fantastic quality food and very friendly service. We came with friends and had quite the feast! Our favourite was the beef rendang, but we also enjoyed the yellow lamb curry very much. On the owners suggestion we also ordered noodles and thought they were amazing.

Despite stating OPEN on google, it was apparently still closed at 1230pm. Measaged to ask if they trade over the weekend however there was no reply. Need some work on the Customer service part but still would like to give this place a try

The lady owner and chef in the house is very lovely. The food is delicious and tasty. Good for money. Good for value.

This is the perfect place to get a taste of authentic Indonesian food in Cairns. Even some of the herbs and vegetables used in the cooking come from Mia's very own garden full of exotic spices and plants commonly used in Indonesian cooking. Love this little cute cafe!
