Breck's Steakhouse - North Charleston

The surf and turf here is exceptional. Your blue cheese dressing is the best I've ever tasted, and it's also available for takeout.

We arrived to register and waited while a man placed his order. After he finished, the cashier turned and walked away. Two more staff members came over, had a brief conversation, and then also left without assisting us. Eventually, the original lady returned to check us out. I noticed that the bill included a 4% convenience fee. According to the memo on the account, this fee would apply if we paid by card, while paying in cash would give us a 4% discount. I paid in cash and asked for the discount, but I was told that the 4% fee was canceled, which was considered the cash discount. After waiting for 10 minutes, I was quite frustrated, and the three employees were rude throughout the process.

Breck's has long established itself in a picturesque and convenient spot in North Charleston. The prices are reasonable, the service is excellent, and I genuinely appreciate that many items on the menu have stayed the same for years. We're consistently impressed by the quality of food we receive for the price. Additionally, they serve the best blue cheese I've ever tasted.

A new place, Brecks Steakhouse for dinner. I have the fried pig dogs with loaded potatoes and Mac and cheese. OMG was delicious!!! Everything was cooked for perfection. The service was excellent and the boss was impeccable.

Food is good. It was a Saturday and they had been very busy. We love the fried mushrooms and the ranch and blue cheese are awesome. They were out of several menu items (and we can understand that on a busy Saturday). The fish was hot and fresh and all the other entrees were good too. We will definitely be back to try some other menu items.
