Feedback gevenAll right, I was last week Thursday (6 October) I suppose it was at 19:30. Then I met Trent .. wow ..you are very rude, I assume if you want to be. I should be standing by the side, at the place where I sat? (or ordered what to do), basically in a corner, and order my food to go. In unbelief and thought you were kidding, I didn't take you seriously. That was you! Yes, no! You and I went back and forth, then I had enough, said I'm gonna sit at the bar to order my food. What added up a little under $50. Most important? Matthew was at the bar, a wonderful and great person, patient, I could look through the menu while I sat down. Trent, you've seen how I took with me before, and I've also pointed out this fact to you. Said I had to sit down! You acted on me later, or so did I feel? anyway?. I also experienced something I think you might have done to another employee, somehow by chance. Not in my book. My answer... is he stupid or something? Don't question your mind, but the behavior! The person you did this to you actually defended you. As far as the food goes... except the corn bread was nothing good or edible. You didn't have a brisket I only started a few months ago. I ordered an app, things came to me with missing items. Last week I was on the AFB, I thought I was going there myself. Yeah, it was funny. Many years ago. I think it could have been in 2005. there was this very charismatic young man who worked there, leaning to the customers at the tables. He came to us every time and said, Hey. Hey.? with a real smile on his face, not nice to act, really who he was. He took the order on the table, not standing before us. We talked about different things. Then we came back one day, and he wasn't there. he had to move to a better place. Let's not forget the good things, like the Cornbread lol, you have to find something humor in everything, because if you're not able to laugh about small things, what will you do when the big ones happen? I had too many since I returned to the states. Hey, Trent. I forgive you, and I hope we will meet again under better circumstances. In a few years.
Great recent experience here! Last time we were here over five years ago. The food seems to be better than I remember. Our fabulous server was Morgan; definitely asked for it again. She made a good culinary experience even better by attentive, friendly, fast! The meat is good; BBQ baked beans and roasted corn are both fantastic sides! Your Brunswick stew is also delicious only very slightly sweet, which improves the taste even more. I just wish they'd serve him a little warmer than lukewarm. But we'll be back soon.
En route to the airport, karen and I need to stop by the near Target Store to buy extra locks for our bag. We were also quite hungry when we moved to the parking lot and noticed Smokey Bones. There was some extra time to kill and always love a good BBQ, as the smell let us in. We ordered the Korean pig bell pops and the double difficulties baby back / St. Louis rib combo plate. The pig pops were good from this world, and the ribs (both), were well smoked and juicy with full taste. The homemade doughnuts had to die. The waitress was very nice and helpful. She gave us extra lemon water to go and the bathrooms were clean. I wish there were such places in the California Bay Area. We have a decent queue, but not like Carolina? It would be twice the price for the portions. Nice treat before our flight back to Cali!
Ruthie was our waitress and she was fantastic! Kept our drinks filled and we never ran out! The food was amazing! It is worth trying this place and we will be back!
Very short on help, service was slow but food came out very quickly. Excellent taste but very small portions for the money. Theu place a piece of bread under the pulled pork to make it look like there's more than there really is.
