King's Korner Catering And

First time visiting Kings Corner. Sign inside door asked to wait to be seated. I stood inside door for approx 5 minutes and not one employee acknowledged me, said they would be with shortly or suggested I have a seat. I eventually left without eating there. I had heard good things and was hoping this would be a good experience

Wow. I can?t believe I?ve lived in Chesterfield this long and had never enjoyed the buffet at King?s Korner! If you?re looking for great BBQ, with about ?10? flavors of BBQ sauce in bottles at each table (similar to Mission BBQ, but more flavors), you have to give this place a try. My experience was ok. .. it was not what I was expecting at all. Chicken was good BBQ good and baked potato but that was all I ate . Maybe I will try on a seafood Friday..

We had friends in from out of town and thought king 's Korner would be more interesting than a chain restaurant. When we arrived, a couple of people on their way out mentioned that the restaurant was serving dried out roast beef and did have prime rib. We started to leave, but then decided to check it out for ourselves. The young lady at the front desk said they were indeed serving prime rib so we approached the buffet for a look. We saw left over scraps of beef but then we saw a big beautiful prime rib coming out of the kitchen. We had a fabulous meal! I cut my prime rib with a butter knife. It was so tender and juicy. The pulled pork was great and the fried chicken reminded me of family reunions when the generation before me would cook all the food at home. We all enjoyed our meal! We got there around 7:30 and did not see any planes taking off or landing but the restaurant was more interesting than the chains, the food was fabulous and the staff was wonderful!!!

Some of the best food around. We happily recommend King's Korner to our friends and neighbors. Go on Fridays for the seafood buffet. Go on Saturdays for the prime rib buffet.
