The Royal Oak - North Dorset

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and great value for the money. The portions are generous and satisfying. The waitress/bar person with red hair was fantastic, very kind and welcoming. I would definitely return for dinner. Overall, the service was five-star quality.

We only needed a quick meal on our way home after a day out. This was a really good choice. Good wholesome meals at a reasonable price and with friendly, prompt service. Good size portions and very tasty. Easy to see why it was so popular.

Another delicious lunch at the Royal Oak, Lsmb shanks, fish and chips, lasagne all perfectly cooked then ice cream sundaes for dessert. Our go to pub for holidays in Dorset. Such a friendly welcoming place, highly recommended thank you , see you again next year.

Just average... didn 't care for the sauce on the beef stroganoff and the cod in the fish 'n chips had no taste... very bland. Good waitstaff and location. Charming building and setting. Parking lot. Reasonable prices.
