Feedback gevenWe visited for breakfast, it was cheap and I got food poisoning. The cheap decor and cheap food summarized why to avoid this place. Smokers at the front make the whole place reek of smoke.
It was a really cold, wet day and we wanted something warm but light for lunch. There was a soup and sandwich deal which liked good. We ordered soup and asked what the sandwich would be. Chicken or ham. I asked if I could have cheese (and did). The sandwiches were horrible. Nasty white sliced bread (I would never buy that at home) and synthetic margarine. The staff weren't that friendly either. The main meals looked okay. Limited selection but good value for money but our lunch certainly was not.
Each time my wife and I eat in Strikes, we thoroughly enjoy the eating experience: good wholesome food; served hot, and most reasonably priced. Good space at small tables for enjoying tasty, well cooked food. I recommend Strikes to all hungry tourists to Belfast City Centre.
Visiting Belfast for the day and stopped here for lunch. Lovely wee cafe and food is good old fashioned home cooked grub! I had a roast chicken dinner which was outstanding, couldn’t eat it all as it was just too much, however hubs helped with the rest!! Will definitely visit again next we’re there.
The staff at this restaurant were extremely rude! I wanted to leave as soon as possible because when I inquired about my food, the waitress was disrespectful and later started loudly gossiping about me with other staff members. It was a very embarrassing and unpleasant experience.
