Bakers and Baristas in the main Grimsby shopping centre is typical of the genre. It is clean and tidy and served a very good selection of hot snacks, sandwiches and cakes. We only had coffees which were also very good.

I visited this restaurant today and was disappointed to find it unclean. I regret purchasing food here as there was a thick layer of lint and dust on many surfaces, including above eye level. Dirt, dust, and lint were also collected on the cafe name sign. The supervisor seemed disengaged, with tables left uncleared and customers having to do it themselves. Prices for food and beverages were high, but there were enough staff if they were utilized efficiently. The staff were polite, and the supervisor mentioned a new manager starting soon. I suggested the supervisor improve the cleanliness before the new manager arrives, but was told a cleaning company would be brought in for a deep clean. I feel sorry for anyone starting work in such conditions and question the ownership/management's lack of attention to cleanliness, which could lead to serious breaches of health and safety regulations.
