Kims Kitchen - North Glendale

I have traveled and eaten at various locations and have been disappointed with the quality of food at surrounding establishments, so I didn't have high hopes for this place. How wrong I was! The staff is friendly, and most importantly, the food is excellent. The menu is limited, but this is actually a good thing. Fewer dishes cooked to perfection are better than a larger selection of poorly cooked food. Although there was a reasonable wait for my order, when it arrived, it was fabulous - as tasty and fresh as what I experienced in Korea! The balance of spices and presentation of authentic Korean food was spot on. The chicken was not overly seasoned and cooked to perfection, moist, and tender with the flavors absorbed from the sauce. The heat was just right, not overwhelming. I was really surprised and impressed by the accompanying sticky rice. I highly recommend supporting this local business, experiencing the cuisine, and enjoying your meal.

This restaurant is a fantastic option for delicious and fast Korean food! For vegetarians, make sure to clarify that you do not want any meat, even if it is not on the menu. I ordered the kimchi fried rice and it was served with beef in it. They were apologetic and made me a new one, but it's best to prevent such situations from happening in the first place.

Been really into Korean bbq lately. Saw this place that was close by and decided to give it a try! It 's a small little gem of a restaurant. I got the Galbi beef and bulgogi. Tastes really good! The Galbi here is probably my favorite out of the places I have previously tried. The bulgogi has this type of 'herb ' taste which I like because it sort of balances the sweetness out. The disposable chopsticks that were given to me had this weird fuzzy stuff on it, not sure if it was dirt or something?? Just make sure you check your chopsticks.

Our first time here and we had a warm welcome. Small place but everything is well kept and so clean. Feels like home. Parking can be tricky but it's not a deal breaker. We had their BBQ beef short ribs, spicy calamari, and kim chi friend rice--everything was so delicious! Even before we left, we already claimed this to be our go-to spot for yummy Korean food!
