The Broadway Carvery

The restaurant has undergone a nice renovation. I tried the New York Deli toasted sandwich, which was decent but not outstanding, and a bit pricey for the quality. The weekday menus are intriguing, with different courses offered each day from Monday to Friday. Unfortunately, the daily carvery has been removed and is now only available on Sundays. This was a popular option and well-priced. The service was excellent, although I had some difficulty leaving a tip as the restaurant is now cashless. Despite this, I plan to return on a Sunday to try the carvery again, hopefully it will be reinstated soon.

In a sea of chain restaurants with boring menus and lackluster food, The Carvery stands out as a delightful surprise. The menu is extensive with plenty of options and delicious combinations to please all palates. The restaurant is actually larger inside than it appears from the outside, yet still maintains a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The service is friendly and efficient, and the meals we enjoyed were all well-prepared, flavorful, and generously portioned. Considering the quality of the food, the prices were very reasonable. We had a great dining experience at The Carvery.
