Having not been in this pub since it was under new management we were really looking forward to it. They did not disappoint!! The menu of small plates were unbelievably tasty and presented beautifully. Not a morsel was left uneaten. The chef is so talented. The atmosphere was lovely and the welcome from the whole team was just what we wanted. Can’t wait to come back for a roast on Sunday!!
We all enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast cooked by Charlie who’s personal attention to the individual requirements was fabulous. Annie provided friendly service all afternoon and our dog really appreciated the walk that has been cut into the grass in their large field. We will definitely return.
Great little place which I believe has just reopened. We were in the area for a wedding and popped in here for a bite to eat. We were met with a really warm welcome. We ordered the chicken schnitzel and the catch of the day which were both delicious and very generous portions. Not wanting to miss out on a dessert, yet both feeling really full, we ordered cheesecake and chocolate cake to take away and enjoyed that later on. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely return to the Moon and Stars and won't hesitate in recommending to family and friends.
I visited here with my husband and our friends for lunch on a Friday. Lovely pub and restaurant, with oodles of character and a cosy feel. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and were very friendly esp Hailey. Lovely lunch of chicken and Bacon Panini with homemade chips (wish I knew what was in the secret coating were delicious! … followed by a Cherry Bakewell Cheesecake. Will definitely visit again!
