Chowking - North Hills

The fried chicken at this restaurant is really amazing! However, the service can be inconsistent. During my last visit, I ordered chicken, soups, chow mein, and 3 siopaos, but when I got home, the siopaos were missing from my bag. After calling to inform them, the person on the phone claimed that I must have forgotten to grab them. When I went back to pick them up, the cashier insisted that I pay for them because the supervisor had supposedly put them in my bag. It was a frustrating experience and I will be taking a break from dining at this ChowKing for a while.

The restaurant offers subpar service, typically serving acceptable chicken, but they are neglectful and often fail to provide any sauce.

Chowking is a top Filipino small restaurant in California. Their halo halo is one of my favorites, particularly in the summer. The beef noodles and pork asado siopao are also delicious. The staff is friendly and the parking is convenient.
