Thai Stops - North Hills

Sometimes it's difficult to place a phone order but The guy here is super passionate about his food and he's very kind.

The owner was super friendly and nice! I called at 11:14PM to see if we were able to eat there and they said of course. Super small place with not that many tables to eat but it didn 't matter because mostly all the other customers were taking their food to go. As I was eating, a man came in at 11:57PM and asked if he can still order, mind you they close at midnight and the owner said 'of course! ' LOOOOOVE THIS MAN. They don 't have dishes to eat there and our food was packed to go already so if you 're trying to eat there, just be prepared to not expect a dining experience. However, the food was bomb, it felt like my grandma 's cooking, which I miss so it hit the spot. I recommend the Tom Yum Shrimp soup for sure! I believe it 's #15. We got mild, but it was still spicy for me so beware! Great hole in the wall for sure!!!

Bad!!! Potions are tiny and food is expensive and flavorless. I got a large pad Thai for around $22 and it was so small! They said their smalls are 12 ounces. I go to spice up Thai on balboa and chatsworth and get chicken pad Thai for $10 and it 's twice the size as their large! I also asked for extra chili sauce on the side and they gave me chili powder??? I also ordered dumplings and I don 't even know what they were.

The owner is super nice and always giving discounts if you pay Cash. The go to is the Red Devil, worth the wait since it's all freshly made when ordered

The pad Thai at this restaurant is amazing. The cook knows how to make it perfectly, and the cashier is friendly.
