Lakeside - North Kesteven

Had dinner on 2 nights at this very well run reasturant whilst staying at the hotel, the system of selecting from meue before entering resturant works very well, there is supposed to be a dress code but on both nights this was not followeed with gents in polo shirts! also on second night one diner was working on his lap top throuout the meal! staff work extreamly hard and anre very good and knowlegable will definatly return

During our visit to the garden center, we stopped by this cafe and were quite impressed. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the prices were reasonable. We ordered two steak pie dinners, which were delicious. Our only minor complaints were that the food could have been a bit hotter and some tables were too cramped. Regardless, we would definitely return as the food was so enjoyable.

We wanted a special place to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and decided on the Lakeside Restaurant at Branston Hall Hotel, where our daughter was married 12 years ago. The evening was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. As we sat in the lounge sipping on G&Ts, enjoying olives, and perusing the delicious menu and reasonably priced wine list, we immediately felt at ease. When our food was ready, we were escorted into the restaurant where we savored a delightful rabbit brawn starter, followed by perfectly cooked beef fillet and lamb rump, both prepared to a medium rare perfection. Every dish was expertly cooked and a pleasure to eat. The dessert was a pleasant surprise, with one plate bearing "Happy" in chocolate writing and the other "Anniversary". It was a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly special – it's the little gestures that truly matter!

Fantastic food, fantastic location with fantastic staff who cannot do enough for you. We had excellent service from not only the restaurant but also the bar. Joe, Liam, Jon and Jacob one of the managers could not do enough for us during our stay.

Deliicous food was available, no problem with food and staff but I think this hotel needs updating. although set in beautiful surroundings, it didnt appear to be available for us to use as it was fenced off.
