Peking Chef - North Kesteven

The food at this restaurant was very plain and appeared to be overly gelatinous. It was our first time ordering from here, and I don't think we'll be back again.

The wait time was terrible. We were told our table would be ready at around 7:30, but we ended up waiting for close to an hour. Some patrons mentioned they had been waiting for over an hour.

I have been a loyal customer of Peking Chef for many years and I always receive a warm welcome. The food is the best Chinese takeout I have ever had. This is why I keep coming back! I would give it 5 stars.

Decided to have a Chinese takeaway as all the other takeaways we have had from various establishments in Sleaford had not been up to the usual standard. We have used the Peking Chef and have had no issues previously and this was no exception. There is a wide variety of choice which does include a small selection of Thai food also we stuck too the Chinese. We phoned our order through and was told it would be ready for collection in 20 minutes which it was. Pipe hot and just cooked we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and there was enough to have for lunch the following day, great value for money and very enjoyable will be using again and if you have not tried it please give it a go you will not be disappointed.

For years we have been going to the Jade Dragon, unfortunately when ownership was changed recently we struggled to find a new takeaway in town that we liked. This was until last night when we tried Peking Chef, their food was amazing and definitely on par with the best we have had a Jade. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. We are pleased we have found a new favourite in town and would highly recommend others to do the same.
