Tavern by the Sea - North Kingstown

Our first visit to the Tavern by the Sea proved to be a very enjoyable time. Located in the historic town of Wickford, the restaurant offers an outdoor/indoor dining exerience with a lovely water view. The food was tasty, fresh the service was very good. The ‘Cape Cod Salad’ was delicious and large enough for two (actually 3), and was loved by this diner enough to order an additional one to bring home. The seafood, sandwiches, fries drinks were all excellant and cooked to perfection. A nice day out..a great meal…Tavern by the Sea is definitely a return to place on our list.

Friendly staff, great drinks and oriental Calamari and I highly recommend ordering the goat cheese appetizer at sunset in the terrace bar. The backlight is beautiful!!

My wife and I arrived close to the closing time, but the food and the staff could not have been better. Laura, our server, was so courteous and helpful for my wife and her food allergies. Our crab cakes and salads were excellent. My brideburger was really unforgettable. We're coming back!

Eating was really fantastic. We had the Hummus w Veggies and Pita bread and we had a big vegetable burger each. They went out to make Mojitos, those were the best we found so far. (Research for the best Mojito.

We had dinner last night. It was the festival of lights in the city and fortunately we had reservations because the place was filled. Despite the busy night, our server was right at the point. She remembered our appetizers, drinks order and dinner selection for our party of four that was quite impressive. Meals were delicious and the drinks were just perfect. We'll be back!
