Great food and service! The beer selection was pretty too- even beer on tap. Have had better pork knuckle at the German club but it's reasonably priced German food on the Northside.

Pork knuckle was absolutely delicious Would’ve liked to have a half but still good value for money and leftovers were just as good the next day. Small comment is that I would’ve liked more gravy some apple sauce for me alone was juuust enough, if I was sharing (or finishing it) would need bigger sides. Hubby also enjoyed his schnitty and beer was great. Good atmosphere and service. Will definitely be back, can’t believe we didn’t try sooner.

Went for dinner on a Saturday night with a couple of friends after the talk around town. A must have was the knuckle everyone said. Great crispy skin but a lot of the meat was dry. One of the group asked for a certain meal that had potatoes which is a German staple food and something that won't go off , to be told they had run out. Coles closes at 9 pm and only 1.5 k away. The staff were friendly and informative, drinks tasty. Upon leaving we walked past the kitchen and to my surprise Sunday nights knuckles had been pre cooked? and we're sitting on the counter. They were there with no refrigeration for some time. My last visit

Been here twice and will go back again. German sausages was my favourite. Had the tower which has a good variety of what they offer. Variety of good german beer too! Make sure to book as they have limited tables. But totally worth it!

This place never disappoints! We have moved back to qld from SA recently and miss Handorf terribly.... but Der Stammtisch has given us exactly what we were missing! Great food and great beer! The pork knuckle is the best! Thanks for opening.... we have been 3 times in the last 2 months and are regulars!
