The Carrick Stone Wetherspoons

Our group of 15 people came in and Stuart went out of his way to make sure we were all able to sit together. He was extremely friendly and accommodating. Thank you again for the excellent service!

I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. Wetherspoons breakfasts are not known for their quality, but this experience was particularly bad. The service was terrible - it took them 45 minutes to bring the brown sauce we asked for when we first arrived. The breakfasts arrived before the sauce, so we had to eat them plain. The food was barely heated, and the butter was so cold it broke my toast apart. My son's pancakes arrived without syrup, and we had to argue to get some without being charged for it. The milk was sour, and my partner's breakfast came without butter. By the time we got everything sorted out, the food was cold. The staff seemed uninterested, and the manager claimed they were busy when the place was empty. The food was terrible - the black pudding was like a hockey puck, the eggs were undercooked, the potato scone was burnt, and the bacon looked overcooked. My partner couldn't finish her meal because she was so put off by everything. To make matters worse, the restroom was a mess. This experience has put me off Wetherspoons breakfasts for good. The only good thing was the hot chocolate.

The bar upstairs is a delightful spot for enjoying a drink. There were a lot of delicious meals being brought to tables nearby. The atmosphere is family-friendly and although the place was busy, it wasn't too noisy. The staff were very friendly and efficient, especially considering how many customers they had on a Saturday afternoon.

Great place for cheap food and drink never let me down also friendly staff would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to eat drink and watch sport

My wife and I had our two grandchildren with us the language of the customers was shocking the Management doesn't act on this I don't want my grandchildren to listen to them swearing and shouting please do something about this asap
