The only downside is their limited hours from 5 to 10 PM most evenings, so be sure to make a reservation in advance. The service was outstanding; our waiter was helpful, informative, and friendly. I opted for the 16 oz NY Strip, which was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. My significant other ordered the 7 oz Filet Mignon and had nothing but praise for it. We also had sides, including stuffed baked potatoes (which I’ve had better), mac and cheese, and Brussels sprouts. All the portions were generous and paired perfectly with our steaks. Our meal started with warm, fresh French bread and rolls, which were delightful. The recommended Merlot was a great complement to the meat as well. Prices are on par with some of the larger steakhouses in Vegas, so expect to spend at least $200 for two, not including any drinks or desserts. Overall, we had a lovely experience at MRKT and would definitely recommend it if you're staying at Aliante or nearby.
Beautiful seating, overall good service. The food was good. Our #1 primary output with MRKT was the extreme waiting time for the participants. That spoiled dinner. For a steakhouse that is a bit on the pricier side, the service must be faster. Recognize the guests. Ask if there is something you can get. Excuse the long delays, etc....
We started with their delightful rolls, which were soft on the outside and slightly salted—simply delicious. We decided to share a Caesar salad, which was served in individual bowls. The salad was nicely chopped into bite-sized pieces, making it much easier to enjoy than large chunks of romaine. We both loved the salad, but it was still a bit too much for each of us. We ordered the Chateaubriand medium-rare. I found it perfectly cooked, while my partner prefers it a bit more done. He particularly enjoyed the end cuts with the crispy browned edges. The meat was carved tableside and accompanied by fluffy, creamy buttermilk potatoes. We also ordered grilled asparagus, which was perfectly seasoned and had beautiful grill marks—both delicious and well-prepared. The Chateaubriand was tender, with an incredible crust of spices encasing each slice. It’s hard to say which part was best, but we both adored the outer ring of the meat. For dessert, we indulged in warm butter cakes, served with strawberries and raspberries on the side, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The cake was indeed warm, and when combined with the melting ice cream and a few strawberries, it made for a delightful treat. We wrapped up our meal with some French press coffee. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience. The only slight downside was that we felt a bit neglected at times; the bar and lounge were quite busy, and our waiter doubled as the bartender. It was clear he had a lot on his plate. However, once we managed to get his attention, he was very professional and did his best to look after us. All in all, it was a lovely evening.
The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and beautiful decor. The appetizers were quite good, and the steaks were well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. However, the scallops were slightly overcooked and had a bit of a fishy taste. The side dishes didn't stand out and were just okay in flavor.
Once again we had a fantastic steak dinner at Market. This time it was the porterhouse for two with whipped Yukon gold potatoes and green beans almondine. Service was great as well as the drinks.
