Baskin-robbins - North Lauderdale

The staff at this restaurant is consistently unfriendly and seems annoyed by customers' presence. I visit at least once a month, and they rarely greet me when I enter. I always have to initiate the conversation by saying hello in order to get any acknowledgment or assistance. Even though I make an effort to be polite by saying "please" and "thank you," the employees only respond when it comes time to tell me my total. Overall, the experience is rude, discourteous, and dismissive—today was my last visit.

Went two days in a row, don't have chocolate or vanilla ice cream. Unacceptable.

Ordered milkshakes, ended up being cold milk no ice cream. We will never go there to get milkshakes again.

Ordered a cake for my son, when I got there. The girl was taking someone else’s order. Mind you, there were other workers there, and no more customers to help, besides me and the other person who was being helped already no one acknowledged me, or even said we will be with you in a minute. Nothing. Then when she was done with their order she just walked away. Didn’t say a word. Then she stood there talking to some other worker, and a few minutes later, a different lady then comes to the register and decided to help me. I say I’m here to pick up a cake I ordered online. She tries to charge me for it. I said I already paid online, I show the proof. She said it’s okay, I believe you . they don’t keep record, of who pays ? The cake looked great; However, it tasted terrible. My kids wouldn’t even finish their pieces it was for my son’s birthday I had to throw out the rest of the cake, they refused to eat it. When I tried it. I could see why. It was terrible. I would like to add. I also got a dozen donuts and the lady made it seem like I was inconveniencing her to order them. I definitely won’t be going to that location again. I will add, it did look clean inside the store.

I was eager to try this place out. I parked my car and noticed a lady walking in front of the entrance just a little while before opening. She then proceeded to smoke a cigarette right outside the door. Since I had my daughter with me, I decided not to go in. I can only imagine how her hands must have smelled while scooping ice cream—definitely not a welcoming sign. They should have the smoking area out back instead.
