I really appreciate that this store isn't too large, which helps maintain a consistent staff that I see each time I visit. At the same time, it’s also spacious enough to offer a great selection of spirits. Their variety of rum and gin surpasses what MGM offers, which tends to focus more on flavored options. I’ve also discovered some fantastic deals on high-quality bourbon and Irish whiskey. Their prices are the best in town, on par with Cub West Liquor. The selection of liqueurs and modifiers is only second to MGM and better than any other store. However, what truly sets PJ's apart is the incredibly friendly and pleasant staff, the best I’ve encountered out of all ten liquor stores in Mankato. This place is clearly the top choice for stocking your home cocktail bar, rather than just grabbing a quick beer.

Without a doubt, this is the best liquor store in the Mankato/North Mankato area. They have a wide selection and fantastic prices. Although Mankato Magazine claims that MGM is the best, I have to disagree.
