My Hero - North Merrick

First time back here in about two yearsOrdered Chicken Supreme with grilled chicken with the worksPresentation looks greatafter taking my first bite of the sandwich, it was OK. The only thing that stood out that I did not like. the roasted peppers are extremely sweet almost as if they were in sugar syrup. It’s not a good combination with the sandwich. I ate about a quarter of the sandwich and could not finish because of how sweet it was.

From the day I moved 1/2 mile away from My Hero in 1974 on Jerusalem Avenue to the present day of 2019...My Hero has always had a extremely wonderful consistency in flavor of all the heroes with one of my favorites... The Champ with the Works of course...!!!Well now it 's May of 2024 I 've been eating at My Hero for over 50 years....the consistency is the best, as the first time I hadMy Hero... Five stars across the board...!!! thank youChef Bennett Karnis of Shelter Island,NY....I grew up a half a mile down the street on Jerusalem Avenue.????

My family has gone here for years and just went again with new owners and STILL AWESOME!!!!!!!! Nothing has changed i hope it stays that way. They are always super busy but its worth it, just wish they would accept cards, cash only is a pain, not everyone carries cash I hope they change that. Also you can now park in Carvel which is a HUGE plus!!!!

My Hero, has been here forever, a staple of my highschool days.And they haven't missed a beat. This place rocks. Good food, friendly staff and now, better parking! That was the only downside, but it's fixed!Cash only, that's the only thing you have to know before coming

The customer service was excellent!!! I ordered a chicken parm hero, and a chicken Supreme. The Supreme was very good. The chicken parm didn't taste like it was done very rubbery. I couldn't eat the Parm. Money down the drain. I'm happy with my Breast Cancer T-Shirt.
