Had a 20 minute wait for our food, which was okay, but when we came back, they hadn't even started on it and we're told it'd be another 20 minutes. Then we were informed that they ran out of part of our order. We ended up walking out and across the street to Denny's.
Traveled into Miami on an international flight and was fortunate to discover this unsupposing little diner that reflects in design the all-American cliche in style and the absolute best hamburger of my life. The head mistress of this beautiful restaurant, Mabel, is a Latina Peach...friendly, attentive, and offered to cook for me anything on or off of the menu. That doesn't happen often...or ever. Nevertheless, the food was so delicious and fulfilling that I returned the following morning for breakfast and was rewarded with a sequel of perfectly delivered bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast. The prices were beyond reasonable for the value and quality of food and service. Given this experience, The Room Diner has my highest recommendation...and I will eat here again, and again.
Friendly location and staff. We ate for breakfast and the food is amazing. We ordered veggie omelet, hashbrowns, pancakes and expresso. The quality of the food is spectacular. Nothing better than homemade food. The pancakes are the best, better than ihop or dennys and the food portions are just right. They even bring up the food to your room with no room service charge.
Delicious! I had a veggie omelette add cheese with hash browns, and for less than $9 it exceeded my taste palettes expectations. Also the host made sure my to-go order didn't lack condiments. Can't believe I've worked right around the corner from this hidden breakfast spot for almost 3 years.
For my birthday, I asked my husband to get me food from here and bring it to me as my morning breakfast. I wanted to try it so bad since the reviews are all perfect. Well I was enjoying it and I found a hair in my French toast! Not very happy! I wish I could say it was my hair, but it was from the batter since I couldn't even pull it out. I was so grossed out, I couldn't finish it. My coffee was alright, I was expecting so much better. I will not be eating here again, because of the hair situation... I wished my experience was as good as everyone else. Also, when my husband brought the things home, there was one container for one thing... One for the egg, one for the French toast, one for two slices of bread... Not very environment friendly, and that does get me upset! Specially in styrofoam that cannot be recycled!
