We went for a meal on a Tuesday evening in October, the pub (Inn) was nicely busy with a mix of locals and tourists. The atmosphere was lovely, very warm welcome from the lady serving behind the bar. The food was delicious, well prepared, especially the homemade pumpkin soup, and the Prawn linguine. The waitress was positive which made every interaction enjoyable. Another plus it was great value. I would say its would probably be worth booking as I think the Poltimore Inn would get busy at the weekends and high season.

WOW! What a place. We went there for a telescope course and found a fantastic pub! Food was great, waitresses were attentive and service was brilliant. Observatory is fabulous and we saw such a lot, lucky to catch a clear sky. Definitely will be back and recommend. Service: 5 Location: 5
