Chestnut Hill Restaurant

After we were looking forward to dinner with seafood, we were very disappointed. our server, connor, did everything possible to make our evening a success, but he could not overcome the food quality. the flamb breads garnels were boiled, the oysters rockefeller sauce was extremely tart and the spinat was so mushy it must come from a dose. the brot on the roasted consisted of our meal overwhelmed the taste of the seafood and took the joy from eating. it should be a great place to go with such a wonderful environment, and the service is phenomenal. but I can't say anything else positive about it.

Great food. great service . excellent value. wonderful creation. music could be much lower. difficult to conduct a quiet conversation with loud music in the background. customers are usually older with hearing impairments, so it would be nice to have little background noise as possible. only my thoughts.

Bar has been fun and drinks were really good. we ordered the house fried potato chips, so good. the restaurant is dated but has a great view. our waiter was young, nervous and has done an excellent job. they brought us mini-muffins and cookies for which we should die. I ordered the black scallops, they were huge and there were 10 on the teller. perfectly cooked and delicious. the part was the 3 boiled red potato without seasoning, and the medley of the sweet, who had no taste. my man got the steak with crab cake, the steak was perfectly cooked and tender, but the crab cake was just good. we had a nice night. I'd go back, but see if I could change the pages.

Not busy eating should have been perfect, but eating was not hot. roomtemp.

Accidentally booked a reservation during Sunday brunch. Very poor experience. Forced to pay $30/person for terrible food. There were also flies buzzing, the meat sat under one heat lamp and was overly salty, and there was one salad dressing choice and it wasn't good. The server was very nice but didn't even ask why we weren't eating most of our food or how the food was at all. Will never return.
