Cliff Top Cafe - North Norfolk

We had a fruit scone sourced from outside cheese toastie both not good pot of tea for two £17 .25 I don't mind paying but at these prices I expect quality food this is far from it They are the only cafe around so they obviously don't care.

We received a wonderful welcome when we arrived at the Cliff Top cafe on a rather grey day. My 101 year old mother was given a very capable helping hand and made to feel at home by a very friendly member of staff, and the dog was also warmly welcomed. Lovely large pots of tea the Earl Grey was delicious and a good range of cakes. And the lunch menu looked very promising, so we will be back.

Lovely restaurant with lovely staff. Great views and dog friendly and most importantly the food was excellent! Especially the apple tart!

This cafe is in a fabulous location in Overstrand with views of the sea, there are very few other eateries close by, so it’s often busy, but its badly let down by the quality of food, £13.95 for an English breakfast that was greasy, undercooked chewy bacon and cheap ingredients in fact nothing about it was good A bit over the top on the dog theme going on too .

Only come here if you want unfriendly staff, cheap bread and condiments, badly cooked bacon, and spend £23 on two of these sandwiches and 2 cups of tea. We declined paying an extra £5.50 for a slice of cake..
