The welcome we received upon arriving was lackluster, especially since there was only one other person in the restaurant. The restroom facilities were subpar; they were dirty and the toilet seat was broken. In my opinion, there is no justification for not fixing it. We will opt for a different restaurant when we visit Sheringham next time.
I stopped by for lunch on a busy day in Sheringham. The food was decent, nothing exceptional but still tasty. It can be difficult to cater to everyone's preferences for a light lunch, but the menu here worked well for us. The jacket potato was cooked nicely, as mentioned by other reviewers, and we were satisfied with it. I would have liked my poached eggs to have runnier yolks, so I was a bit disappointed, but cafes don't always get that right. The cakes and scones looked delicious, but we didn't try them this time.
Really enjoyed scones. Decor was lovely as was the service. Semed to be a favoured meeting place judging by the number of people who popped in chatted to other customers.
Myself and my dog were welcomed in. Inside was bright and clean. I asked about a bacon sandwich at 3pm, it was no problem. When it arrived, it was packed with bacon, that was tasty, but not salty. The bread was lovely and fresh. Washed down with a good americano. All for just over £6. The staff were really friendly. I'll definitely go back
Popped in to warm up with coffee, tea and scones. Lovely cafe, fab scones. I had the cheese herb, husband had tea cake.
