The Hunworth Bell - North Norfolk

We visited whilst on holiday in the area. We were greeted by very friendly staff. Although the restaurant was busy, being a Saturday evening, we were not rushed and enjoyed a leisurely meal. My friend is coeliac and the menu offered her lots of choice. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

A lovely evening with excellent food, warm and friendly service and a peaceful atmosphere. I would certainly recommend it to others.

Just had a family lunch at The Hunworth Bell , I don't leave many reviews but this visit today warrants praise. The surroundings in the restaurant were very pleasant and informal, the staff were very welcoming, the man behind the bar was sincere and did everything right, he described the specials, offered table water, then took our drinks and food order, a credit too his employer, service with a smile but not over the top, the food was well presented portions were ample, warm and tasty. I had Bangers and mash with veg it was perfect, i would definitely recommend this pub for atmosphere, friendly staff and quality of food, the pricing was not cheap but nor was it expensive, its true in this circumstance you get what you pay for. Worth the drive out and would come here again, hope the standard can be maintained at this high level well done

We all had different meals all good service was great just a shame not just here but most pubs don't seem to be able to make roast potatoes and crispy Yorkshire pudding and a bit sparing with the gravy, maybe the time we went accounted for the potatoes perhaps left over from lunch and recooked sorry that doesnt work, my husband said his were chewy and did t eat them apart from that we enjoyed the evening

Great Sunday lunch. My partner had two starters from the bar menu and the roast beef, which he declared to be excellent. I had a goats cheese and beetroot salad to start followed by scampi. The portions were generous. Lovely friendly service. In comparison to some other local restaurants this was well priced.
