Taste Of Scandinavia - North Oaks

This charming restaurant/bakery offers a wide variety of both sweet and savory dishes! It was bustling when we visited over the weekend, but we managed to secure a table despite the limited seating. The Eggs Benedict and Lefsa breakfast were both delicious, and we were impressed by how quickly they arrived—only about 6-7 minutes. The pastries were fresh and delightful. However, I wasn't particularly fond of the coffee, and the bathroom could have been cleaner. Overall, the service and food were quite good!

I’m so happy we chose T of S for our wedding cake all those years ago. It was delicious, indulgent, and unique, with fresh strawberries adding vibrant color to the layers. Every anniversary, we enjoy a slice with our coffee. And rest assured, it’s not Lutheran coffee—it's black, not weak and watered down!

The food at this restaurant is consistently amazing. Breakfast is hearty and incredibly tasty. The selection offers both hearty options, which can leave you feeling full for hours due to their potato content, and lighter, fluffier dishes. Plus, being a bakery, they have an impressive array of baked goods. Their donuts and other tempting treats are simply irresistible. Today, we stopped by for donuts before going on a bike ride, which felt like the perfect excuse to indulge!

Service is meh, so are the breakfast wraps. Gets chaotic on weekend mornings. BUT those pastries are very much worth the trip alone! No bad pastry here so far.

The bakery items looked fantastic, but I did not try them. They have some great tasting lefse and that is what this review is all about.
