Big Corner Tavern - North Riverside

I have lived the road from here down for about 3 years and always thought the place looked sketched out. it looks like a biker bar on the outside, but... mine.

First, thought for an early dinner on the way to the house. big eckburger was brilliant and 10 uncensed joy. no images that have devastated it.

Owner/manager does not care about Covid-19. she sat at the bar that was drinking with someone, and they both stood up and often walked around without masks.

Best staff in the country! I work here now so I'm a bit biased. Their fries are amazing and have a special seasoning that makes them amazing. Their menu is pretty great too, I don't think a single item on the menu is bad.

Spent an hour here because I just moved to the neighborhood. This has the feel of a place that you go because you know everyone, or you want to sit down and have a drink and be left alone, or you know no one. It’s an every person bar. It’s the place you wish you had in college on campus. The place you found just outside the military base when you were young and enlisted. Everyone welcome, no strangers to be found.
