Angelika's German Pastry Shop

The limped goods here are some of the best I ever had. I wish I bought more. I was in Germany and their cakes and pastries are so good if not better.

We have Angelica's cakes and treats since our arrival in PEI in March and this is a source of joy especially during the lockdown. It is not only because of the excellent, delicious taste of desserts, as it is always very attentive to freshness...and the best quality of their ingredients, but above all, the professional and friendly service we had. And of course there were always some extra, free tasting and treats. The most beautiful tokens were a greeting card for my newborn grandson. In short, their desserts are all made of love.

I had the chance to taste a number of Angelika's pastries from her stand on the Charlottetown Farmers' Market and they are always such a treat. Their tiramisu is just divine and all their pastries come in very generous portions enough that... You could share with someone (but you don't want, given how delicious they are! .

I had tried Angelika's German bakery cake at the Charlottetown Farmers Market and was blown away how fresh they are. The cake was light and not too sweet, the icing was creamy and tasty. I contacted her to see if she would make a...wedding cake for 35 people; my wedding was intimate, and I knew that I didn't sweeten, stale, fondant cake that looked better than it tasted. Angelika was quick with her answers, and I told her I wanted a vanilla cream cake with fruit, and she worked with me to create a design. My father took it from the peasant market, and our reception kept it cool until it was time to serve. I was blown away by Angelika's artistry; it was absolutely beautiful, the design she had created. And it was the most delicious cake I ever tasted. All our guests have traveled about it. Angelika also made several mini cakes to several guests nutritional restrictions: milk free, gluten free, AND milk and gluten free. These guests were very touched to have cakes that they could eat, which were just as delicious and beautiful as the main cake. I cannot say enough about this cake; it was so good, and the price was incredibly reasonable. My family and I will look for an excuse to order more cake in the future!
