The Pearl Eatery - North Rustico

My husband and I visited The Muther's debut night and were extremely impressed! Everything ran smoothly considering it was their opening night with a new team. Each dish arrived promptly, the service was excellent, and the food was amazing. Having dined at Michelin-starred restaurants in Europe, I have never been so blown away by the quality and innovation of restaurants on PEI until now! It was evident that a lot of thought was put into the menu and aside from a few minor hiccups, everything was executed perfectly. They have set the bar high and I can only see them reaching new heights in the future. This kitchen is producing some great dishes and I am eager to return! The standout of the meal was definitely the dessert - both were delicious, but the strawberry rhubarb with beet and maple ice cream was exceptional (and I usually don't even like strawberry rhubarb - my husband ordered it and I ended up stealing every last bite). Well done to all, give them a round of applause!

We had a superb Mother's Day experience with a 6-course extravaganza at this restaurant yesterday. The music was beautiful, the food amazing, and the ambiance first class. The new owners are embarking on an exciting and successful future with this new adventure. To further improve their chances of becoming one of the top dining destinations in Atlantic Canada once again, I recommend that they continue to have exceptional servers like Curtis from Calgary, who demonstrated a steady professionalism and grace that added a special touch to our wonderful evening. Well done, everyone!
