Feedback gevenI’ve been following this farm’s Instagram for over three years and finally had the chance to go.Short review…I can’t wait to go back next season for peach picking and apple picking.Long review…The walking was not so bad as every thing was in close proximity. We had a stroller so the hills were a little tiring with the rubble but it was manageable. We booked tickets for slim picking but we were not disappointed at all. There were a few apples in the top of the trees at the entrance but there were loaded trees at the bottom of the hill. MediumBag is $25.There were different food options, a little disappointed that there were sold out of rice and Turkey leg but the apple cider donuts were hot and fresh. The line for the apple cider donuts was long but it moved pretty fast. Unless you eat the donut right a way they’ll the squished in the brown paper bag. $12 per dozen and $8 for half dozen. The donuts were delicious but the packaging could be better.A lot of dry dirt so don’t wear your good shoes.A bit pricey over all but worth it for once per year. A bottle of apple cider and a cup of cider was almost $28.The live music was awesome! The only downfall of this was the restrooms. Porter potty’s in the parking lot and the restrooms by the farm stand is closed.June 2023We went strawberry picking and it was great! $7 per person and $10 per pint. Great for children of all ages.
Every year we gather for our annual fall tingz! This year we visited Harvest Moon Farm. Because we visited on a Monday, there weren't many activities being offered and the orchard was closed, but we had a great time in the pumpkin patch and taking pictures with the animals. We also had a wonderful drink at the bar inside the market before playing board games on the patio. We loved our time at Harvest Moon and would love to come back again!
Enjoy apple picking and pumpkin patch at a lovely farm. Make sure to try the apple cider donut and hot apple cider drink!
This place used to be great until everyone from NYC lower boroughs started to find out about it and take the train in masses. It's totally changed from a local quaint spot to an insanely overcrowded mess- both with traffic and the large crowds that come. You can't get home if you live nearby because of the exit being closed. Random people from out of the area park in our residential private driveways and think it's ok? It's definitely lost it's local favor and charm for sure...
You have see how this orchard is transformed into a wonderland of holiday lights and creatures! Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard in North Salem becomes LUMAGICA ..a magical holiday family fun evening event. There are other holiday strolls but if you have to pick one I recommend this one!
