I ordered chicken and steak. I was not impressed at all. the steak was great, it tasted as if someone marinated it in sand, it was very granular and dry. it was a cheap steak that they use for the meal. it didn't have much taste. the fried chicken was dry. I had to smuggle it with her teriyaki sauce to hopefully get a better taste of it. unfortunately it didn't help. to the happiness my son ordered a large firehouse next door and I ate the half of it. for 20 mice I paid for this meal, I threw them away. I wish I had gone somewhere else and had a better meal for this price.
This place is definitely the best hawaian food around! Try their three meet platter and their nachos. So delicious!
Service was friendly, food is really good, decent portions, and everyone enjoyed it. We will eat here again. The lava cake was not great however. Looks pretty, but it is quite expensive and nothing special in flavor. Avoid the cake, but load up on everything else!
I've tried Mo Bettahs but the food at Kokonut blew it out of the water. Mac salad was better and the Kalua pork was also way better. If you're a fan of the Hawaiian food restaurants, do yourself a favor and try this place. The attention to detail and quality of food was fantastic. Place was very clean and staff were super quick, helpful, and nice.
