We tried the Mee-Sam and the business atmosphere wasn’t great. In the morning, they offer budget-friendly beehive ice and daily specialties, although these aren’t advertised anywhere—you have to ask to find out what they are. In the late afternoon, they serve "zhi char."

I have been enjoying breakfast at this restaurant for many years, and the food is usually delicious and worth the price. However, today I was surprised to find the noodles were overcooked. A plate of noodles costs 3.50 and came with very few vegetables, despite my request to avoid mock meat. I hope the owner can find a way to improve the quality and value of the dishes, as many staff members have had to step back. This is an update to my previous review from September 5, 2021.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, all of which are delicious. I particularly enjoyed the sambal petai.

Lousy service staff, wait long time and order never come.

Their zhi char are delicious. Fried Sambal petai rice, fried udon, fried Hong Kong noodles etc. Mixed veg rice so so.
