Sainsbury's - North Somerset

Royally welcomed in this Sainsbury's café. Very friendly and happy ladies, doing their utmost to comply with the ever-changing and ridiculous rules form HM government. When we left we were also asked by a lovely lady on the front entrance if we had enjoyed our visit. Thank you Sainsbury's Portishead!

Good range of foods. Excellent cafe. General merchandise supplies varied; DVD/bluray/CD/LP. Clothes bedding kitchen and bathroom items. Great alcohol selection. Staff are reall friendly

I live in Meopham Kent. I have been doing my major shop at Sainsbury’s at Gravesend/Northfleet for some 30 years. We have a Waitrose at Longfield but I found that Sainsbury’s have a great wide range of items. However over the last two months my time in Sainsbury’s have actually double due to the management relocating items every few weeks. We all realise the reason for this. It is supposed to get the shoppers to see items that are not on their list and buy them. WELL I HAVE FOUND IT SO FRUSTRATING TO THE EXTENT I AM CONSIDERING SHOPPING AT WAITROSE AND ANY ITEM THEY DON’T SELL JUST SHOP AT THE LOCAL SMALL TESCOS. I’ve just returned from a major shop and have found that most shoppers and Sainsbury’s shop assistants find this process absolutely ridiculous. PLEASE SAINSBURY’S STOP IT AND REALISE THAT YOUR CUSTOMERS AND SHOP ASSISTANTS ARE NOT THICK. JUST STOP IT. Please respond to my review Sainsbury’s

Single use plastic everywhere! Where are the refill stations? Toilet rolls covered in plastic. Disposable cups in the cafe with no encouragement for reusable. Fruit and veg all covered in plastic. Deli counter use plastic. Vast majority of waste ending up in landfill or sent to some Asian country. Plants with labels to throwaway after use and not planted. This can't be right anymore.

Nipped into Sainsbury's in Portishead on Thursday and used the facilities which were all good. Nice cafe and also the usual selection of foods and also meal deals. Talked to the friendly staff on customer services and all good.
