Had lunch with my parents, party of 4, service was excellent as was the food, will definitely return soon.

Not as good as other review have said . Service was very slow. Two of our meals arrived both Christmas dinner without any sprouts which were brought later and No stuffing at all. The Christmas pudding was nice but sadly the custard was cold. This was a special treat for my daughter and son-in-law and left me feel let down. So sorry but I must be honest.

Wonderful Christmas meal. Very tasty and plenty on the plate. Surprisingly lacking in atmosphere but maybe due to us having an early evening booking.

The waitress was very kind polite but often slow at taking our orders. We waited 15 minutes after being seated just to order drinks. When the food came out one of us ordered fish and chips and was given scampi, which he was quite disappointed about but didn’t want to cause a fuss and send back to the kitchen. Charging £17.50 for a mixed grill I would expect a large portion for being one of the most expensive things on the menu but unfortunately it wasn’t all that! After being almost forgotten about after our desserts came out we had to hunt down a waitress to ask for the bill. Which she very reluctantly got for us, it almost seemed a chore for her by the look on her face! Reluctantly we paid the optional 10% service charge on the bill.
