In the hectic and driving the ever-expanding and changing face of north sydney is this little inconspicuous caffe. I ordered the rindfleischburger to lunch (what a surprise, right.) in no time came the burger and was as impressed as great and juicy it was. hubby ordered his pommes. this is the best $10,90 I spent in a long time! the burger was big and juicy and full of taste. I have spent the double elsewhere and not half as impressed. okay, you have no bells and whistles here, just a good to the erdcafé that takes good eating to realistic trips for the food crowd. in any case will be restored.
Had a demand for a steak sandwich, it's a past since I had one. very surprised when I opened it that it was in Turkish brot, it kind of just not the same feeling. the brot was beautiful, sprung chewing. the flesh was juicy, well boiled a lot of sauce through it. the chips were okay.
Despite the contradictory name of caffe, the macadamia caramel tare I got from here was divine. I am not big on caramel, as it tends to be too sweet and is easy to hang on the teeth. but this was not the case for my tarte, which with a decent amount of nuts, a gooey caramel filling and a short crust paste art basic. it tasted even better after a few hours in the refrigerator. the shop also serves good looking sandwiches that I need to come back for another time.
It's bitter and sweet great coffee but average brekky wrap. It was very plain, cheap ham, low flavour. Probably won't come back for food but will get a coffee again.
