Sushi Bar at Fish Market - North Sydney

The Japanese woman who works as part of the floor staff at this restaurant is verbally abusive and a toxic workplace bully. I witnessed her constantly scolding, yelling, and rolling her eyes at her staff. During a conversation with a casual staff member, she yelled that she was the owner and not a worker. It was difficult to watch and listen to as a customer. I have no desire to return and support a business run by someone so nasty and toxic.

This sushi bar located within a fish market is not a very pleasant dining option. While it may be the only place to get prepared sushi, the atmosphere is unappealing, with an industrial feel and high prices. It might be better to purchase sashimi from other shops and enjoy it outdoors instead.

Best Sashimi and Sushi in Sydney by Tanaka-San at the a la carte sushi counter here on Fri, Sat and Sun from 11:00. Tsukiji quality produce and Omakase style take you straight back to Japan! (Have a menu also) Long awaiting return of a great sushi experience in Sydney certainly lived up to the hype! This is a must do while in Sydney!

This place is a joke the karaage noodles were cold just awful the tall Asian man was RUDE RUDE RUDE people were literally shaking their head he was so rude! accused me of not paying for my coke even though I had just paid $4.90 for a 600ml bottle! Learn some manners so other peoole don't suffer haven't you ever heard of customer service??? Pathetic place.

We dine at this sushi bar whenever we are at the fish Markets. Without exception the sushi and sashimi is excellent. But today we ordered the Ramen. Oh dear god! The worst ramen ever. Revolting. A instant noodle pack would have been better. Pick up your game guys!
