Jimmy J's Pub Grub - North Tonawanda

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The service was fantastic, and the food was outstanding! The homemade cheeseburger was cooked to perfection—truly delicious! The fries were crispy, not soft or greasy, which I really appreciated. I also tried the steak and cheese sub, and it was great as well. The portion sizes were generous. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

I'm so upset that we didn't discover this place sooner; I've lived nearby for years! We only visited on a Friday night, so things might be different during the week, but the service was fantastic (albeit a bit quirky) and the food was just as good. The kitchen closes in front of the bar, but the limited options (only fries and soups) take a bit longer to prepare, especially during busy hours. I tried one of the best mushroom dishes I've ever had here — it was hearty and packed with ingredients, unlike the usual cream-based versions you find 90% of the time elsewhere. It’s truly a hidden gem. The dining room has plenty of seating for its size, but the bar area is a bit limited. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable; you can get a seasonal craft pint for just $5, which is a dollar or two less than what you'd pay in other places around WNY.

Last month, we moved into the neighborhood and have been eager to try Jimmy J’s ever since. We were not disappointed at all! The burgers are huge and absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked. I ordered the Greek burger while my partner had the Heart Attack burger, and we were both equally satisfied. I’m usually not easily impressed by burgers, but these ones definitely have me wanting to return! I highly recommend you give them a try!
