I went to this restaurant with friends for breakfast on the weekend. The menu offered the typical options you would expect. We are a picky group and aren't afraid to speak up if something isn't right. The first thing that stood out to us was the excellent attitude of the waitstaff. They paid attention to every detail. The next important factor for a good breakfast is the quality of the sausage and bacon. This restaurant did not disappoint - the sausage was flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the bacon was crispy and not watery like some cheaper brands. The food was presented nicely on hot plates, showing that care and pride was taken in its preparation. The tea was served in a pot and had a full flavor. Overall, we had a great breakfast experience, although one friend felt that their coffee could have been stronger. But the staff were attentive and listened to his feedback. We will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to others.

Please disregard the negative reviews from before. It's clear that some changes have been made! I ordered a roast beef takeout today and it was fantastic and huge! The meat was cooked perfectly and it came with all the condiments I requested. It arrived on time and was well packaged.

This restaurant used to be a friendly place with good food and reasonable prices, but it seems to have suddenly disappeared. The previous review mentioned it is now under new management, which they kept quiet about. I wonder why that is! It will likely become just a run-of-the-mill cafe now. I definitely won't be returning.

We are regulars at the café and called in today to find the cafe has been sold and is under new management. The menu has been completely changed and so has the lovely staff. There was no pleasant greeting from Andrew, Gary and Lucy. Just a surly waitress who didn't smile once. The menu was poor, no small portions and VERY expensive. No one asked if our meal was OK or if we wanted condiments. No smiling Gary and Lucy. Terrible atmosphere. Regular customers were telling us they weren't happy either and won't go back. We did tell the miserable waitress we won't be back. A shame as we've been customers for years.

Told to sit and will be served, waited 10 mins and no one took my order so left. Pity as told the food was meant to be nice but never got to try.
